We currently are not breeding smooths, much to our dismay. Hopefully, we'll spy a lovely smooth dog at some time to breed to one of our rough girls, or find a smooth bitch that we HAVE to have, but for now, we only have roughs available.

Triscuit is the only smooth Tryst daughter, and has proven to be a worthy successor. She was Canada's #1 Smooth in 2001, shown VERY sparingly. She finished her US title with four majors. Triscuit regretfully had to be spayed this summer, and is now enjoying life with Pat Clarke in Saskatoon. If you see Pat out and about with a sable smooth that she calls Stella - do call her Triscuit and give her a cookie!! Triscuit/Stella will be venturing into the obedience rings later next year.

Sadly, Shiver left us at the age of fourteen and a half. Words cannot express our sadness at her passing. She leaves a huge void here at Tallywood, and will always have a special place in our hearts. Shiver was Canada's #1 smooth two
years in a row and is also the first Canadian bred smooth to take an all
breed Best In Show. She has won many specialties in Canada, including the
National. |

Tryst is the one who has done it
all. As a puppy she won an unprecedented three Best Puppy in Shows, a record
for Canada - but that was just a warm up for her adult career. At twelve
months and three days she took her first all breed Best in Show, and now
has won an unbelievable six all breed Bests. She also was Best In Specialty
at the CCC Regional National. Canada's #1 smooth for 1996 and 1997, Tryst
is now the top winning smooth of all time in Canadian history and ended
1997 as the #4 Herding Dog in the country! More importantly, she is the dam of the amazing
AM/CAN CH Tallywood Rainforest Radiant and the 2001 CCA WB/BOW, CAN/AM
