AM.CAN. CH. TALLYWOOD TRANSCENDENTAL (Am/Can Ch Tallywood Twist and Shout Am/Can Ch Tallywood Transcendence)

We have always believed that Tazo was a very special boy, and in April he proved it by winnng the Collie Club of America National Specialty!! This is truly the pinnacle of our breeding career, and we still pinch ourselves everyday to see if it was a dream or reality. Our sincere appreciation to Mr. Thomas Coen for this honor. Tazo is owned by Keri Campbell and ourselves, and will now be retired to Keri's to begin some obedience and agility training.  Thank you to all his friends and supporters for all the cards, flowers and emails, we loved and saved every one!

AM.CAN.CH.TALLYWOOD FASHIONISTA (Am/Can Ch Tallywood Twist and Shout ex Am/Can Ch Tallywood Transcendence)

Vogue is a dream come true.  After finishing with four majors, both from specialties and all breeds, she came out to win three back to back BOB at the Collie Club of WA shows and BOV at Overlake specialty.  After being home to blow coat, she came out to two Canadian shows to pick up a group first and third!  She then jetted off to Southern California and was BOS to BOB at the South Bay Collie Fanciers, and BOB at the San Gabriel Valley Collie Club! Vogue just received her coveted invitation to the Eukunba Classic! Vogue picked up her fifth specialty BOB at NorCal under Carl Williford, then came back to Canada to win a group 2nd and 4th!  Vogue started 2007 on a high, winning back to back specialties, and all breed BOV and a group 2 in Texas. Vogue picked up her ninth and tenth US specialty BOB in February!

AM.CAN CH TALLYWOOD TECHNICOLOR (Am.Can.Ch. Tallywood Twist and Shout ex Am Can Ch Tallywood Transcendence)

Tech finished his American title in four weekends of showing, finishing with a specialty BOW in Southern California. Shown in 2005 in Canada he finished the year as #2 Rough Collies and a specialty BOB.. His puppy career saw him earn TEN Best Puppy in Groups, four group placements and a Best Puppy in Show. His first litter contained the beautiful Ch.Tallywood Revelation, and Ch.Tallywood Rekindled Tech is now home making beautiful babies for us.  His son, Am.Can.Ch.Wild West's Mercury Rising, just finshed in the US.  He also picked up three BPIS wins, a group first and a Reserve Best In Show in one weekend out in Canada.

Ainslie is a special gal, being the only daughter her dam has given us!  She finished her Canadian title in one weekend  She recently picked up back to back group 3's at Canada's largest outdoor show!  She then went to the US to pick up her first major under Dr Greathouse, and then was BOS at the CCC national, handled by her best friend Natasha Taphorn. She went to visit Keri Campbell and is now the dam of Tallywood Aychess Rock Star and Tallywood Aychess Replica, by In A New Light.  Watch for them!

Macy was BOW at the CCA Nationals; at just 7 months of age! We can't thank Carmen Leonard enough for finding her amongst the stars. She blew coat soon after that, then came back out in November to go all the way to BOV at the Collie; Club of Washington under Lee Runnels, then back to the states again in January to go BOB at the Overlake Collie Club to finish with her fourth major! Macy is a dream come true AND the dam of a five champions to date -BPIS Am.Can.Ch.Tallywood Technicolor Am.Can.Ch.Tallywood Transcendental, Am.Can.Ch.Tallywood Fashionista,  Am.Ch.Tallywood Divination, and Am.Can.Ch.Tallywood Enlightened.. Macy was taken from us in February of this year and leaves the largest hole in our hearts.  We adored her so.

CAN CH TALLYWOOD AT FIRST LIGHT (Am Ch Gambit's Trick of Light ROM ex Can Am Ch Tallywood Rainforest Radiant Can.ROMX

Lola has done it all.  The first time in a ring she was BOB/Group 4th/BPIG and finished in a weekend.  Shown as a puppy specialty she won a Group First, Reserve Best In Show and a Best Puppy in Show!  Coming back out at ten months, she went all the way to BEST IN SHOW under Jon Cole, and finished her puppy career with yet another Best Puppy In Show.  Bred to Ch.Southland's Bowen Island, she gave us a lovely litter that is currently out and winning. Lola picked up back to back five point majors in the US and we hope to get her finished soon.

Hush is one of our favourites - and who knew we could fall for a brown one!  Her first weekend out in Canada garnered her a BOB and BPIG win.  She picked up a major reserve in the US from the 6-9 class, Hush had a great but short puppy career, picking up four group placements, five Best Puppy in Group awards and a Best Puppy in Show!!  Hush went on a road trip this fall, and came home with a specialty major and a major reserve.  Hush is spending the winter in BC with her good friend, Keri Campbell.  Keri and Hush just picked up back to back BOV wins and a Group 3 in Washington - Hush now has seven US poitns.

To know Tizzy is to love her!  Style, attitude, presence - she has it all.  First time out she picked up back to back Best Puppy awards at the Nor Cal specialties, AND was BOW under Tom Coen for her first points.   She just finished her Canadian title with a big Group First from the classes!  But she didn't stop there - her next weekend out earned her three Group Firsts and an amazing BEST IN SHOW!! Tizzy then headed off to the states, to pick up two BOV and a Group 2nd and a Group 4th! She just finished her US title with back to back specialty majors. Tizzy was awarded an AWARD OF MERIT at the 2008 CCA, and was Canada's #1 Rough Collie for 2007!

Cayman had a two weekend puppy career, and picked up nine points, including a group placement before he blew coat.  We brought him back out in February where he  finished at the AKC shows, and went on to go BOB at the ASSCA specialty!  We predict an exciting future for this young dog.   exceptional.  Cayman is now enjoying his new home with Wendy Reekie, Fonehill Collies. Cayman just returned from a trip to the states, and now has seven points, both majors.  His son, AM.CAN.CH.TALLYWOOD ENLIGHTENED finished at ten months of age, and TALLYWOOD RESONANCE has six points, including a specialty major.

AM CAN Champion TALLYWOOD RAINFOREST RADIANT ROMX (Am Can Ch Gambit's A Hurricane Brew'n HC ex Am Can Ch Tallywood Crossheart Windswept)

Shimmer is our favourite child. She finished in a flash as a young puppy, then as a puppy special won three BPIG, a group 4th and TWO Best Puppy In Show wins. Shimmer also has two specialty Best in Sweeps to her credit; and recently WON the Collie Club of Washington! She also was BOB at the ASSCA specialty under Nioma Coen. In the US, she finished quickly shown by both her owners. A stint in the whelping box saw her become the mom to seven champions, two of which are also finished in the US. She has now qualified for her Canadian ROMX!!! Shimmer is a group winner in Canada, is the dam of a Best In Show  winner, two multi group winners, and is co-owned by and resides with Sue and Jim Bertrand, in the Rainforest.

The first time Zen stepped into a ring, he was WD for a major at the NorCal shows under Betty Peplin!  With reserves under Marcia Keller and Carmen Leonard, this puppy is charming everyone he meets. Zen finished his Canadian title in one weekend, picking up two group placements and two BPIG's! Zen just returned from Portland where he picked up a five point major, going BOV over specials! He finished his next weekend out with another five point specialty major.

Whimsy is just beginning her show career in February 2008 where she garnered a specialty major reserve, then promptly blew coat.

CAN.CH.TALLYWOOD REVELATION CGN (Am.Can. Ch Tallywood Technicolor exs Am/Can Ch Tallywood Heart of the Matter)

Declan is a gorgeous sable merle boy that we co-own with Natasha Taphorn. He picked up eight points in his first weekend out, topping the weekend with a Best Of Winners at the ASSCA specialty  He finished with a BOB over specials, shown by Natasha.

AM CAN CH TALLYWOOD TWIST AND SHOUT (Am/Can Ch Gambit's A Hurricane Brew'n ROM ex Am.Can Ch Tallywood Heart of the Matter)

Tag, in his first outing in the US made us proud by winning the 9-12 AOC class at the 2002 CCA. He jpicked up FOUR specialty majors in two weekends in California with Linda Robbins and Barbara O'Keefe, and finished in eight shows!   Tag is the proud dad of Technicolor, Fashionista, Divination and Transcendental.  Tag is now retired from our breeding program and is enjoying his retirement with the Merritt  family!

AM CAN CH GAMBIT'S A HURRICANE BREW'N HC ROM (Am Can Ch Gambit's Freeze Frame ROM ex Am Ch Gambit's Hurricane Alley)

Twister is a very special boy.  Bred by and co-owned with Linda Robbins, he began his US career by winning the 6-9 AOC class at the '97 CCA, the same year his sire Kodak was BOB for the second time. Twister came home with us from Reno, and his first show in Canada saw him win Best Puppy In Show; He finished with a specialty win, then stayed home to grow up. His first (and only) time out as a special in Canada saw him go to the Collie Club of Canada National, where he went Best In Specialty. He was honored with an Award of Merit from Pam Durrazano at the 2000 CCA and won many specialties in the US. He is the sire of 23 US Champions, is the sire of a Tracking dog AND the RWB from the 2001 CCA!  He earned the coveted Register of Merit title from the Collie Club of America in 2003. He has left a huge impact on our kennel, and we can never thank Linda enough for sharing him with us.
